I hosted a workshop for Department of Art students at The University of Texas at El Paso to learn the street art technique of wheat pasting. For the workshop, I designed a large-scale typographical graphic. The workshop wheat pasted the design over two, 4' x 8' plywood panels. These panels were then pieced side by side and installed upon the chain link fence on the 600 block of North Oregon Street in downtown El Paso, around the then-future site of Roderick ArtSpace Lofts.
Completed in 2016, the building now blends 51 affordable live/work units for artists and their families with 5,000 square feet of multi-purpose nonprofit commercial space and a large community room.
